$$-$$$$, North Miami-Dade
Fodor's Review:
An all-suites high-rise tower, the Ocean Point isn't as luxurious as Acqualina, the Trump, or Le Meridian, but it offers plenty of value for your money. All standard rooms have two double beds, washer-dryer combos, and kitchenettes, and suites have full kitchens and Jacuzzi tubs. Most rooms have balconies with excellent views. The beach is relatively uncrowded, and you have a choice between a casual snack bar and the View restaurant. As at all Doubletree properties, the front desk has built-in ovens that bake warm cookies, available to guests free all day. Pros: Understated luxury, cheaper than its ritzy competitors, and on-site spa and market. Con: Small pool.
