$$-$$$, American, Magic Kingdom
Fodor's Review:
Named for the big glass atrium surrounding the restaurant, the Crystal Palace is a great escape in summer, when the air-conditioning is turned to near meat-locker level. The buffet-style meal includes prime rib, peel-and-eat shrimp, soups, pastas, fresh-baked breads, and ice-cream sundaes, all part of a one-price package (dinner price is $28 for adults). There's also a kids-only buffet with what many youngsters consider the basic food groups: macaroni and cheese, pizza, and chocolate chip cookies for $13. per child. The Crystal Palace is huge but charming with numerous nooks and crannies, comfortable banquettes, cozy cast-iron tables, and abundant sunlight. It's also one of the few places in the Magic Kingdom that serves breakfast. Winnie the Pooh and his pals from the Hundred Acre Wood visit at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
