$-$$$$, Downtown Disney
Fodor's Review:
The lavender-and-pink exterior looks strange, but the interior is another story. Comfortable one- and two-bedroom suites are decorated in tasteful hues, with blue carpeting and orange drapes and bedspreads. Each bedroom has either a king bed or two doubles. Units come with three TVs, including one in the bathroom, and a wet bar, microwave, refrigerator, and coffeemaker. The small lobby has a charming feature -- a small aviary with birds from South America and Africa. There's a special "registration desk" for kids, where they can get coloring books and balloons. Pros: within walking distance of Downtown Disney; free shuttle to all Disney attractions. Con: inconvenient to Universal and downtown Orlando.
