Dance, Midtown
Fodor's Review:
The Atlanta Ballet, founded in 1929, is the country's oldest continuously operating ballet company. It has been internationally recognized for its productions of classical and contemporary works. Artistic director John McFall has choreographed such dance greats as Mikhail Baryshnikov and Cynthia Gregory; only the third director in the company's history, McFall brings a constant stream of innovative ideas and vision to the group. Performances are usually at the Fox Theatre but sometimes take place elsewhere.
