The menu changes regularly, depending on availability of local produce, fish, and meat, but expect the sort of "fusion" fare you'd find in a top-notch New York or San Francisco restaurant. The added bonus is that you can sit outside and enjoy balmy breezes. The food is surprisingly reasonable for what you get and where you're eating. You could easily make a meal out of a selection of pupu. The wine list is extensive and well-chosen, and servers are extremely well-versed and helpful.

If only it matched the food!

Excellent kitchen, but service level doesn't match its culinary quality and innovation. We weren't even able to order wine until after the first course was served.

One of my all time favorite places to eat when my family is over on the Big island. We try and go twice to three times while we are there..

An excellent option at the Four Seasons

We ate both here and at Pahuia. The food and service were as good here as at Pahuia and the prices were about the same. The atmosphere at the grille is much more relaxed than at Pahuia and off course yo do not get the magnificent sunset views. There were many families eating with small children. If you're not into that just make a later reservation.
