This casually stylish eatery is a 10-minute drive from Waikiki in the up-and-coming culinary mecca of Kaimuki. Sample Chef Russell Siu's New York Steak Alae'a Alae'a (steak grilled with Hawaiian clay salt), the crab cakes, or the signature ahi katsu wrapped in nori and deep-fried with a wasabi-ginger butter sauce. Siu combines a deep understanding of local flavors with a sophisticated palate, making this place especially popular with homegrown gourmands. The dining room can feel a bit snug when it's full (as it usually is); go early or later.

Absolute Best Service and excellent food

My wife and I ate at this restaurant on our honeymoon on a Tuesday. Our server John treated us with great respect, kept our wine glasses full, and was a great addition to our meal. There was a problem with my meal, but the chef immediately fixed it, and they also made us a complimentary dessert for our honeymoon. They even called a cab for us. I was extremely pleased that I chose this place as our honeymoon meal.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at 3660 on the Rise. It was one of the best meals we have had in Oahu. Everything was tastefully prepared and fresh. The wait staff was friendly and professional. We will return when in Oahu again. A definite recommendation. You will not be disappointed.
