$$$-$$$$, Hawaiian, West Maui
Fodor's Review:
The tray of dukka (Middle Eastern spices) delivered with your bread should tell you that this elegant dining hall has something different to offer discerning palates. Chef Jojo Vasquez isn't the culinary maverick his predecessor was -- so you won't find foie gras ice cream on the menu here any longer -- but from the calamansi-splashed oysters to the pomegranate-glazed lamb chops, Vasquez hits the mark. The open-beam restaurant's subdued atmosphere is charged with the sounds of live world music.
