Chicago History Museum

Museums / Galleries, Lincoln Park

Fodor's Review:

The museum went through a major rehaul in late 2006 when it changed its name from the Chicago Historical Society in honor of its 150th birthday. The new permanent sights include a Costume and Textile Gallery and the exhibit entitled "Chicago: Crossroads of America," which demystifies historic tragedies like the Great Chicago Fire and Haymarket Affair.
