$$, Steakhouse, West Loop
Fodor's Review:
The look here is old-time Chicago -- oak and brass, black-and-white photographs, and waiters dressed in suspenders and shirtsleeve garters -- though the true vintage is late 1980s. We forgive them the ruse for the well-priced (around $30) Angus steaks, which make this one of the more reasonable top-tier steak houses in town. Planked salmon is a good non-beef option. Live jazz lures prowling carnivores to the lush garden in summer.
