David and Alfred Smart Museum of Art

Fodor's Review:

If you want to see art masterpieces but don't want to spend a long day wandering one of the major art museums, the Smart may be just your speed. The diverse, 10,000-piece permanent collection includes works by old masters; photographs by Walker Evans; furniture by Frank Lloyd Wright; sculptures by Degas, Matisse, Rodin, and Henry Moore; ancient Chinese bronzes; and modern Japanese ceramics. Temporary exhibits are a great way to see startlingly good art in a smaller, intimate space.
