Fodor's Review:

Simplicity and seasonality are the keys to this waterfront restaurant. Local farmers and anglers make daily drops at the kitchen's back door, and the menu changes accordingly. In spring look for asparagus; in fall order squash. Dishes can be rich, such as foie gras with maple-braised shallots, or light, such as a tart of morel, asparagus, and goat cheese. The ingredients are impeccable, and though the presentations are at times overly capricious, in the end the cuisine glows. Note that the service is included in the bill.

Unremarkable food, Horrible Service, poor value

This was our worst dinning experience in Boston. The service was horrible. 2+ hours for three courses and then a 20% tip was added to the bill. The food is entirely unremarkable with skimpy servings. Your can do much better. Avoid Aura

Do not eat here

Posted by fpz from Boston Mass on 9/22/07

The restaurant automatically adds 20% gratuity to the bill, giving the waiter zero incentive to give good service, which was in abundant evidence at our dinner. It was also apparent from the fact here were three people in the dining room on a Friday night. The food wasn't so great either: sloppy presentation, tasteless desserts, expensive and unimaginative wine list. TIPS means "To Insure Prompt Service" and we sat around waiting forever in an empty dining room to be served by an indifferent waiter. Big bill and a very disappointing experience. Skip this place.
