A. J.'s Steakhouse

$$$$, Steak, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino

User Rating: ***** 4.6

Fodor's Review:

The Hard Rock Hotel offers a time-machine ride back to Old Las Vegas with this retro-style room that's a tribute to Hard Rock chairman Peter Morton's father, Arnie, a Chicago restaurateur. Behind the oxblood leather front doors lies a dining room decorated with 1950s-style furniture and photos; there's even a piano bar. Among the appetizers are crab cakes, a gulf shrimp cocktail, and smoked Norwegian salmon. Featured steaks include a 16-ounce New York strip sirloin and a 24-ounce prime porterhouse. Alaskan salmon and seared ahi tuna are among the nonbeef options.

Amazing Food

Posted by Amanda from Las Vegas, NV on 2/13/06

The service was decent and the appetizer platter for two was delicious. They had wonderful crab cakes, prawns, and the best scallops in all of vegas. I would defintly go again, except it is a bit pricy.
