On the edge of Over-the-Rhine's club district, the stainless steel building recalls the mobile eateries of the 1950s. But Vinyl is more like the anti-diner. Servers wear their diner garb ironically, and food ranges from sushi to burgers to fondue, served up to club beats by Vinyl's DJs. The clientele depends on when you come: at the end of the work week, professionals duck in for lunch; on weekends, clubgoers make late-night stops; and everyone shows up for Sunday brunch.
