Andrew Pinckney Inn

$$-$$$, Market Area

User Rating: **** 4.0

Fodor's Review:

The lobby of this boutique inn has a homey ambience that blends South Carolina and the West Indies. The two-story town-house suites, which sleep four, are ideal for longer stays. A heavenly breakfast with fresh-baked pastries and biscuits with sausage gravy is taken on its rooftop, which overlooks the church spires. It's in the bustling market area, so ask for an interior room.

Excellent Value

Outstanding hotel in an excellent location usually about $75 cheaper than its closest competition. Highly recommend this hotel and the rooftop free breakfast is icing on the cake.

One of the "stronger" values downtown

Posted by James from Charleston, SC on 12/5/05

It's not the nicest hotel in downtown Charleston, but it's clean, safe, and in the heart of the historic district, (and a heck of a value to boot.) I (a local) tell lots of budget aware visitors about this hotel and none of them have complained. Easy continental breakfast on a rooftop and the Market Area and King Street are a couple blocks away.
