Tucked off a little alley in a restored warehouse, Coast has pared-down trappings like exposed brick-and-wood floors. Fried fare and heavy sauces are on the menu, but lighter dishes such as the fish tacos and ceviche make it a standout. The best choices include oak-grilled fish and lobster served with pineapple-chili salsa, white-wine-and-lemon sauce, or garlic butter.

The food was barely above edible. The seared tuna was uninspired. The beans accompanying my wife's red snapper were not listed on the menu and when presented were horrible. The venue is too large to serve well prepared food. Service was average and slow. Certainly not deserving of a rating above 2 or 3.
