Fodor's Review:

Ophelia's may have the lowest-profile of Seattle's many excellent used-book stores, but it's our favorite. The tight quarters are cozy without being oppressive, the tiny spiral staircase leading to the basement space is a very sweet detail, and the resident cat is always asleep on a stack somewhere. But what sets Ophelia's apart is its excellent (and manageable) selection of major titles from best-selling and well-known authors. Other shops may have many more shelves -- and more rare or obscure works -- but lack a good selection of the types of books that send most of us to bookstores in the first place. Also, it has a poetry section that's more than five books big.
