Canmore
Canmore Review
About 25 km (15 mi) southeast of Banff, Canmore became a modest boomtown with the 1988 Olympic Games. It attracts a mix of tourists and locals who feel that the commuting from Calgary is a fair trade-off for living in the mountains. Canmore makes a good base for exploring both Kananaskis Country and Banff National Park, without the crowds or cost of Banff.
