Banff Park Museum National Historic Site of Canada
Banff Park Museum National Historic Site of Canada Review
This National Historic Site, made for the 1893 World Exhibition in Chicago, is western Canada's oldest natural-history museum. Fondly referred to as the "stuffed animal museum," most of the animals were collected between 1890 and 1930, when the park was still open to hunting. You can get up close and personal with some of Banff's largest mammals, including a grizzly bear, bison, mountain goats, and bighorn sheep.
