Begin your day with a stop at the Waterton Information Centre to pick up free maps and information about interpretive programs and schedules.
Behind the reception center is the Bear's Hump Trailhead, where you can enjoy a relatively easy 1.4-km (0.9-mi) hike to a beautiful scenic overlook. After the hike, drive up the hill to the historic Prince of Wales Hotel to enjoy the view.
Next, visit Waterton Townsite for an early lunch. Afterward, walk the easy 3-km (2-mi) Townsite Loop Trail, stopping to view Cameron Falls and explore the trail behind the falls.
End the day with a scenic, two-hour Waterton Inter-Nation Shoreline Cruise across the border to Goat Haunt Ranger Station and back.
