Get beyond the marble floors, silk and velvet walls, and gold-cushion benches in the lobby and you'll discover a warm residential character to this boutique hotel. The studio, one-, and two-bedroom suites come with kitchenettes and in some cases fireplaces; faux-leather walls convey an organic feel, and the oversize Parisian mirrors add just the right amount of bling. East-side rooms overlook the heated saltwater outdoor pool and garden patio. Breakfast is available in the elegant L'Orangerie guest-only lounge, which leads to a small library and free computer terminals.
