By Bus

Pacific Coach Lines has daily service between Vancouver and Victoria; the bus travels on the ferry.

BC Transit serves Victoria and around, including the Swartz Bay ferry terminal, Victoria International Airport, the Butchart Gardens, Sidney, and Sooke. Single-zone fare is C$2.25 (exact change); an all-day pass is C$7. Mid-June-August, Gray Line West's Butchart Gardens Express shuttle runs every 45 minutes from the bus depot behind the Fairmont Empress. Round-trip fare is C$47, including admission to the gardens; you can add a stop at Butterfly Gardens for C$12.
