Canoe and kayak rentals are available at Alta Lake at both Lakeside Park and Wayside Park. A spot that's perfect for canoeing is the River of Golden Dreams, which connects Alta Lake with Green Lake, both within a couple of miles of the village.

Whistler Jet Boating. Owner-operator Eric Pehota runs three daily excursions from May to September, cutting his jet boat through swirling channels and rushing rapids right up to the base of Nairn Falls. Like many Whistler guides, he operates via cell phone and through the activity center. Meeting points vary depending on water levels and weather. Trips are C$109.
