Adara Hotel Review

Whistler's only true boutique hotel is the Adara, sister to Vancouver's Opus Hotel and equally as hip. With its designer furniture (think curvy white Verner Panton chairs), a vibrant color scheme of reds and browns, and unexpected modish touches, like sheepskin throws and bright-orange resin antlers, the Adara provides an urban alternative to the typical ski-lodge experience. There are four distinctive room configurations, all with spacious bathrooms with rain-shower heads and electric fireplaces, as well as sophisticated surfaces in local wood, stone, and other natural materials. Some rooms have private terraces. There's an outdoor pool in summer and a year-round hot tub.
