Fodor's Review:
Contemporary mahogany furnishings fill the rooms at this luxurious and understated business-oriented hotel, and quiet and calm prevail in the public areas. Expert staff, in starched uniforms, wait to fulfill your every wish. Gio Restaurant ($$) serves eclectic cuisine in a casual setting. The hotel is connected by underground tunnel to the World Trade and Convention Centre; walkways provide access to shops, offices, and entertainment, including the harborside casino.

This is my favourite hotel in Halifax. It is a very upscale hotel that seems to be significantly cheaper than other hotels in its league. The service is outstanding and you leave feeling pampered. As well, the location can't be beat and there is a fantastic restaurant onsite. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean.
