Fodor's Review:

The 2 1/2 acres of rooftop gardens and the open-air year-round swimming pool set the Bonaventure apart from the usual run of corporate hotels, and make it a great place to take the family. The location's pretty good, too -- right on top of the Place Bonaventure exhibition center with easy access to the Métro and the Underground City. Modern furniture and pastel walls decorate the guest rooms. Pros: spectacular rooftop garden and swimming pool. Cons: confusing layout, full of conventioneers.

just what we needed

A few weeks ago myself and five friends went to montreal for the weekend. We were very pleased with the hilton, it was right across from the train station and within walking distance of all the shopping and sites to see in downtown and old montreal. I was also happy to see that the management didnt look down on us because we were college students which tends to happen too often. The rooms were very nice and looked newly refurbished, i just wish the hallways looked as good. The pool was great too, just wish the cabana had been open. There was a nice lounge/bar in the lobby. the concierge was super helpful too with plenty of maps and helpful information. The outside of the building is a bit dismal looking, but i'd def stay there again.
