What was once a 19th-century rooming house is now a waterfront B&B overlooking the Vieux-Port. A magnificent wood staircase links the floors of this stone building. Antiques and reproductions furnish the spacious guest rooms, some of which have whirlpool tubs. A full breakfast is served either on a sidewalk terrace on warm sunny days or in a dining room when it cold or wet. The service is very attentive. Pros: wonderful views of the Vieux-Port; attentive service; pleasant sidewalk restaurant. Cons: parking is very difficult.

My wife and I stayed two nights. Everyone very helpful. Great location to see the old city. When we go back we'll stay again.
