All inter-city bus lines servicing Montréal arrive at and depart from the city's downtown bus terminal, the Station Centrale d'Autobus Montréal, which is built on top of the Berri-UQAM Métro station. The staff has schedule and fare information for all bus companies at the station.

Within the city, Société de Transport de Montréal (STM) administers municipal buses as well as the Métro; the same tickets and transfers are valid on either service.
