Le Pays de la Sagouine Review
Le Pays de la Sagouine is an Acadian culture theme park, with a make-believe island community that comes to life in French in daylong musical and theatrical performances and dinner theater/musical evenings July through September, with an English version on Sunday, mid-July through August. Tours are available in English and French, and the Friday-night jam sessions are accessible to English-speaking visitors, too. La Sagouine is an old charwoman-philosopher created by celebrated Acadian author Antonine Maillet.
