Artisan Village Review
Downtown Moncton's new Artisan Village is an ambitious and exciting transformation of a former bus depot/car dealership into an open-concept community of artists and craftspeople, the only one of its kind in the Maritimes. Metal artist Shane Myers is the visionary at the forefront of the project, which will eventually include up to a dozen ateliers, a gallery and an upscale boutique, a café-bar and a "world-cuisine village," a lecture hall, and plenty of opportunities for the public to interact with some of the province's finest artisans.
