Cocoa Pesto Bistro

Cocoa Pesto Bistro Review

Since Windsor is a hockey town, it's probably not surprising that the ubiquitous coffee shop chain founded by pro player Tim Horton was long considered the culinary gold standard here. Then Cocoa Pesto debuted in 2006. The menu includes assorted pastas, pecan-crusted salmon, and sweet- and dry-rub pork ribs straight from an apple-wood smoker. The bistro's three licensed rooms have a minimalist look that nicely balances the heritage building's original architectural features, and a patio provides outside dining in summer. Cocoa Pesto is part of the Woodshire Inn ($$), so exhausted eaters can bed down in one of two suites upstairs.
