Sainte Famille Winery Review
Visits to the family-owned Sainte Famille Winery in Falmouth, 5 km (3 mi) west of Windsor, combine ecological history with the intricacies of growing grapes and aging wine. Tasting is done in the gift shop, where bottles are sold at bargain prices. The winery gives tours twice daily, at 10 and 2, May through October, but the best time to come is at the end of the season when Sainte Famille hosts its annual Harvest Wine Fest. The one-day event features food, entertainment, and a competitive Grape Stomp. Even the kids' category is hotly contested.
