Just as you can't judge a book by its cover, you can't judge an eatery by its exterior. Take Râpure Acadienne: though it's little more than a village take-out shack, the rappie pie here—picnic-ready and sold to go—is hard to beat. The traditional dish (properly called pâté à la rapure) is made of beef, chicken, and sometimes clams mixed with grated potatoes from which much of the starch has been removed, and most restaurants along the shore serve it.
