Bare Bones Bistro

Bare Bones Bistro Review

"Foodie destination" isn't the first phrase that comes to mind when describing Parrsboro, so Bare Bones is something of an epicurean oasis. Organic ingredients supplied by local farmers and fishermen strike the keynote on a menu that is deceptively simple—you might find, for example, fresh flounder with julienned summer vegetables, followed by warm blueberry cake served with brown sugar sauce and Chantilly cream. A children's menu in the main dining room and hand-tossed pies made in the adjacent Bare Bones Pizzeria ($) ensure that no one leaves the premises hungry.
