The Drake

The Drake Review

A hotel, restaurant, art gallery, café, and music venue all in one, the Drake is high-style hip that appeals to ages 20 to 50, depending on the entertainment. The Underground, downstairs, fills with a younger crowd for indie bands. The sound system is great, and the stark walls are usually decorated with art or projections. Live jazz is performed in the main-floor Drake Lounge, where scenesters sip cocktails and order snacks or dinner. Escape to the rooftop Sky Yard, with potted plants and heat lamps, year-round.
