The Gabardine Review

Cozy and unpretentious, this gastro-pub stands out from the other restaurants in the area that caters to mostly to suits with a corporate AmEx. A light space of white walls, ceilings, and counters is the backdrop for pub classics like chicken liver pâté salt cod cakes, but updated with gourmet touches like smoked paprika aioli for the latter. Moist and juicy roasted brined pork with creamed polenta is a comforting, as is house-ground sirloin bacon cheeseburger with aioli.
