Bay Fortune
The drive along Route 310 on the eastern shore is a tour through essential Prince Edward Island. Small wooded areas break up farm fields sloping away from the shore. Bays and rivers cut into the landscape, and fishing boats take shelter in every harbor. Bay Fortune, site of one of the larger harbors, has been a secret refuge of American vacationers for two generations; they return year after year to relax in the peace and quiet of this charming little community.
