The Great George Review
This centrally located boutique hotel is fashioned out of 15 heritage buildings. History is clearly in the air (some Fathers of Confederation stayed in them during the Charlottetown Conference), but it's nicely balanced by the contemporary decor and 21st-century tech touches. A complementary Continental breakfast buffet is presented in the Pavilion reception area, as is an afternoon happy hour, and treats are available in the lobby around the clock. Accommodations range from stylish doubles (some with fireplaces or clawfoot tubs) to lux condos that rent by the week. There's even a dedicated floor for female business travelers.
