Avonlea—Village of Anne of Green Gables Review
At Avonlea, purpose-built structures have been combined with heritage ones—among them a schoolhouse where L.M. Montgomery once taught—to convincingly re-create Anne's fictional hometown. Blissed-out devotees can sip raspberry cordial and take in the scene as strolling actors bring favorite scenes to life. For everyone else, activities like spoon-playing lessons, wagon rides, and old-fashioned sack races still ensure a fun day out.
