The Gahan House Pub & Brewery
The Gahan House Pub & Brewery Review
PEI's only microbrewery, housed in an 1880 brick building downtown, clearly takes pride in its products. Seven handcrafted ales (and one wickedly good root beer) are prominently displayed on the upstairs menu, and tours of the downstairs brewing operation ($8, samples included) are given twice daily in summer. Beer reappears in several dishes as well, including the signature brown-bag fish-and-chips with honey wheat ale-battered haddock and pulled pork sandwiches accented with IPA barbeque sauce. But even teetotalers will appreciate that the food here is always tasty, affordable, and well presented.
