Orléans Express provides daily service between Montréal and Québec City. The trip takes three hours.
Buses from Montréal to Québec City depart daily on the half hour from 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Buses run from 6:30 AM to 10 PM on Sunday. A one-way ticket costs about C$50.14, round-trip costs C$77.49. Tickets can be purchased only at terminals.
Within Québec City, the city's transit system, the Réseau de Transport de la Capitale, runs buses approximately every 10 minutes stopping at major points around town. The cost is C$2.50, and you must have exact change. For a discount on your fare, buy bus tickets at magazine shops and some grocery stores for C$2.30 (C$5.95 for a day pass, which can be used by two people on the weekend). The terminals are in Lower Town at Place Jacques-Cartier and outside St-Jean Gate at Place d'Youville in Upper Town.
