It's no ordinary burger joint: this cozy café with brick-and-stone walls attracts an artsy crowd to rue St-Jean. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, pickles, hot mustard, mayonnaise, and a choice of cheeses (mozzarella, Swiss, blue, goat, and cream) top the hearty burgers. French fries are served with a dollop of homemade mayonnaise (there are five varieties to choose from) and poppy seeds. Salads, sandwiches, and a daily dessert made fresh by the pastry chef are also available.

    THe food was amazing. The poutine (my first time!) was mouthwatering. Great service, the hamburger was very fresh and tasty. We will definitely recommend and return.

    We ate here on a rainy night in April 2010.The atmosphere was cozy and the service was very good. Excellent value for the price- food was tasty, served hot and looked beautiful on the plate. Plan on returning next week when we are back for the Festival de musique de Québec.

    Worth the walk/bus ride

    Amazing food for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. It's an easy bus ride from St. Jean's gate on the #7 bus. If you come to Quebec you must eat here. The best part - you can choose between regular, curry and pesto mayo for your fries!
