A quick detour on the ferry (C$10 one-way) across Lac des Deux-Montagnes brings you to this small town with old homes housing art galleries, boutiques, and Christmas shops. In winter there's an ice bridge: basically a plowed path across a well-frozen lake. Taking a walk across the bridge is a singular experience.
