Restaurant Le Cheval de Jade Review
"The Jade Horse" specializes in French haute cuisine. The elegant dining room has lace curtains, white linens, and ivory china. The food is the real thing—local ingredients and organic produce are used to create classic fare such as grilled beef filet mignon, bouillabaisse, and Piña Colada tiger prawns flambéed with rum, pineapple, and coconut sauce. Their Discovery menu (C$79.95) includes a half rack of lamb with cranberries, garlic, and thyme jus and seared duck foie gras with Pear and Port wine sauce while their Gastronomic menu (C$89.95) features snow crab and Matane shrimp cake as well as Atlantic Grouper Fillet with clam and tarragon sauce.
