Fodor's Review:
A renowned beer writer-taster and a creative chef have teamed up in a happy/hoppy partnership where beer is king. Each menu item uses beer as an ingredient: the chef panfries catfish and pairs it with black-eyed peas and orzo cooked with pilsner; a chunky beef stew is slowly braised in La Maudite to melting tenderness. Start with a flight of beer in 3-ounce tasting glasses, to be drunk from mild to bold. The comfortable, modern interior includes a huge angled mirror on the wall above the kitchen, which allows a peek into the heart of the restaurant. The new patio is a joy in summer.
