$$$-$$$$, Downtown
Fodor's Review:
Full kitchens and an indoor pool make this 30-story downtown high-rise a good family choice. Although freshly refurbished, the predominantly taupe and mushroom tones are rather bland, but all the amenities are here, including a highly rated full-service spa. The pricier one-bedroom suites are enlivened with French doors and spalike bathrooms. Corner suites have balconies, and north-facing rooms above the seventh floor have mountain and ocean views. The hotel is also home to Yuk Yuks comedy club, and on most Friday and Saturday nights the restaurant clears some of the hardwood floors for dancing. Pros: The spa, on-site entertainment, large rooms. Cons: An average-quality hotel trying to be a bit grand.
