Fodor's Review:
Located on the Capilano Reserve in North Vancouver, this two-story longhouse-style gallery is a showcase for handcrafted items made by members of the Squamish Indian Band, as well as other aboriginal artists in British Columbia. You'll find hand-tanned moose-hide crafts, hand-knitted sweaters, moccasins, and jewelry made of silver, gold, porcupine quill, or bone. The store is owned by Nancy Nightingale, the daughter of Chief Simon Baker, whose traditional name, Khot-la-Cha, means "kind heart" in the Squamish language.
