$$-$$$, Downtown
Fodor's Review:
Convenient to Vancouver's convention center, the main cruise-ship terminal, and the U.S. consulate, this is one of the few moderately priced hotels in the business district. Rooms in the six-story 1920 building are small but freshly decorated with plasma TVs, duvets, and honey-toned colors. The two-bedroom, one-bathroom units are good value for groups and families. The hotel runs a free shuttle to the train and bus station and to both cruise-ship terminals. The Irish pub off the lobby can get quite lively after work and on the weekend when there's live entertainment. Pros: Good value for downtown location. Cons: Noisy on weekends.
