During the late 19th century, this three-level square, built like an old courtyard, originally provided everything a sailor, miner, or lumberjack could want. Restored to its original architectural character, it's now a pedestrian-only, café- and boutique-lined hangout. It's lined with independent shops selling toys, imports, gifts, souvenirs, jewelry, local art, and even homemade dog treats.
