Wild Pacific Trail

Fodor's Review:

Ucluelet is also the starting point for the Wild Pacific Trail, a hiking path that winds along the coast and through the rain forest. Eventually it will link Ucluelet to the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. A 2.7-km (1.7-mi) loop starts at He-Tin-Kis Park off Peninsula Road and can also be reached from the Amphitrite Point Lighthouse at the end of Coast Guard Road. Another 4-km (2 1/2-mi) stretch starts at Big Beach at the end of Matterson Road and continues to the bike path just outside Ucluelet.
