Local seafood paired with wines from neighboring vineyards shine at this lofty ocean-view restaurant in the Brentwood Bay Lodge. Start, for example, with a halibut and scallop ceviche, oysters on the half shell, or a smoked fish plate, then opt for Queen Charlotte halibut with clams, potato-crusted wild B.C. salmon, pan-seared sable fish, or one of the seafood pastas. Wood-burning fireplaces, two-story-high windows, and a wonderful array of Canadian art warm the interior; outside, a heated patio takes in views of Saanich Inlet. The SeaGrille's menu, along with burgers, pizzas, and craft beers, is also offered at the more casual marina-view pub on-site.
